Oncofertility

ReproHub “Motherhood after Cancer”, “Motherhood for Cancer Survivors” is not only a cryobank based on the LUMMEDA MC .

This is an integrated system of oncology and reproductive medicine, where optimal decisions are made in the first days after an oncological diagnosis.

Patients of reproductive age, 18–40 years old, receive oncofertility consultation within 24–72 hours after confirmation of diagnosis.

No cancer treatment without discussing fertility for patients of reproductive age.

The storage period of biomaterial in LUMMEDA is unlimited and free of charge for cancer patients.

The biomaterial is stored at –196 °C in a liquid nitrogen environment in special dura chambers.

Time to start treatment:

  • men - 1 day after receiving the spermogram result (sperm cryopreservation)

  • women - an average of 10 days for oocyte cryopreservation

We apply protocols for urgent fertility preservation - cryopreservation:

  • sperm

  • ovum

  • embryos
